SAMPLE LESSONS

 

Session 1
Aim: Participants will be able to express personal information and ask others questions; Participants will use correct phrases to introduce themselves and others; Participants will understand the terms syllable and syllable stress; Participants will recognise phrases related to employment language.
Objectives: Participants will focus on forming wh- questions accurately; Participants will learn to hear syllables in words and identify stress syllables; Participants will learn phrases used to introduce themselves and others; Participants will learn and use phrases related to employment language; Participants will give accurate personal information.

Session 2
Aim: Participants will be able to ask for repetition or clarification of something they have not understood; Participants will use verb “be” accurately when talking about work; Participants will be able to explain a job and its workplace.
Objectives: Participants will use the third person “s” accurately when talking about work; Participants will know a job by its description and recognising key words.
